On 05th September, Bal Vatika School marked a day of joy and reverence by celebrating the festival of Janmashtami, the birth of Lord Krishna. The occasion was graced by the presence of Smt. Radhika Rao, Presiudent of Jagriti Samaj and other senior members of Jagriti Samaj.

The day kicked off with an exhibition showcasing the stories from the childhood of Lord Krishna, that was portrayed through intricate models which captured the essence of his divine journey. The students' creativity and attention to detail were evident in every exhibit. One of the most awaited events was the 'Matki Phod,' where students enthusiastically attempted to break the hanging pot filled with goodies, a tradition reminiscent of Lord Krishna's love for mischievous pranks.

A beautifully decorated 'Jhula' adorned with flowers and peacock balloon added to the festive atmosphere, symbolizing Lord Krishna's playful nature.

The highlight of the day was a mesmerizing ramp walk, where children dressed as Radha, Krishna, Sudama, Balram, and other characters from Krishna's life captivated the audience with their colorful costumes and graceful performances.
